Harry Potter director Chris Columbus reveals he would have been interested in returning to direct both Deathly Hallows films

Whereas Chris Columbus helmed the primary two instalments within the Harry Potter movie franchise, Harry Potter and the Thinker’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber, the director has revealed whether or not he ever thought of returning to the collection.

In an interview with Collider to advertise his new movie The Christmas Chronicles 2, Columbus revealed that he needed the return to helm each The Deathly Hallows movies to shut out the collection however admits director David Yates did a beautiful job on the finale.
